Larry Stephen is charged with one count of receipt, distribution, and possession of child pornography, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. Police arrested him on Tuesday, June 18, and a judge released him on conditions after his first appearance in court.

Police searched Stephen's home on June 7 after they traced his account on a social media platform to sharing child porn, federal investigators said. Officers found the offending material on his phone, according to a news release.

Stephen must serve a minimum of five years and up to 20 years in federal prison if convicted of receipt, distribution, and possession of child pornography, authorities said.
